email note - March 21, 2009

.... My uncle Andy was the Historian. Before he died he helped me with family tree as follows: My grandfather Stylianos had two brothers, John and Leonedis (Louey) and one sister, Tsoula. They were the children of Demetrios Thomakos. Steve Thomas' grandfather Stylianos Thomakos, and Demetrios were brothers. I believe their father was Leonedas. Louey was known as "papoo Louey" because he was the oldest brother. In fact, my understanding was he came to this country and worked for some time and then returned to Krokeai where worked in an olive grove well into his 90's. I believe Steve Thomas' father was Vasillios and he had a brother, Elias. I have no idea what branch of this family still live in Krokeai, so any help would be deeply appreciated.
Steve Thomakos.
